Meet Caitlynn McReynolds!
Caitlynn was born in Hammond and grew up in Ponchatoula and Greensburg. She was home-schooled and later became a police officer for the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Office in Amite. She served for 3 years until she had a business opportunity to manage Berry Town Nutrition in Ponchatoula. She has one daughter, Brilynn (4) and they live on a farm with cows and chickens.
We want to thank Caitlynn for spending some time with us and letting us get to know about her life and her love of the area.
Q: What led you to your current career?
A: My mom was concerned about me being a police officer, so she purchased Berry Town Nutrition in March of this year. I manage the day to day operations here.
Q: What is your favorite restaurant in the area, and what do you like to get there?
A: Definitely Toula Burger. I always get the Shrimp Creole Poboy.
Q: What is your favorite childhood memory?
A: Going to Disney World yearly. My Dad's family lives out there, so we were able to see family and have a fun vacation.
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be? And why?
A: Bora Bora! The food and scenery look so beautiful.
Q: What is your favorite movie? What is the first movie you saw in a theater?
A: A Walk to Remember is my favorite. Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium was the first movie I saw in the theater on a school field trip.
Q: What is something on your bucket list?
A: Skydiving!
Q: What is your favorite music or an artist/band that you would like to see (dead or alive)?
A: My Favorite genre is country. I would love to see George Strait perform.
Q: If you could choose one person to go to lunch with that you’ve never met, who is it and where would you go?
A: Jimmy Buffet and we would eat at Margaritaville obviously!
Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique that you love about the area?
A: The people.
Q: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
A: Still working here at Berry Town Nutrition!
Q: What is something interesting that most people don’t know about you (even friends or family)?
A: I have been a single mom since I was 17 years old. That experience has changed my life in so many ways. I work harder and I am a better person because of her.
Q: What is a word or phrase that comes to mind when you think of the word “Home”?
A: Food!
Q: If you could have a full-time staff member that is fully paid for, what would that be? (Chef, housekeeper, driver, coach, personal trainer, etc.)
A: Personal trainer!
Q: Most commonly used emoji?
A: Laughing face with tears
Q: If you could have a superpower, what would it be?
A: Teleporting
Q: Do you have a hobby?
A: Going to ATV parks and riding.
Who would YOU like for us to get to know?
We love meeting, knowing, and working with our community, and we love working with homes and all types of properties.
