We want to thank Candace for spending some time with us and letting us get to know about her life and her love of the area.

Q: What led you to your current career?
A: I worked for North Oaks doing marketing for a couple of years, and I always had a side job of making and selling cake balls. The business has evolved to many partnerships with PJ's Coffee, CC's Coffee House, Rouses Markets and other regional stores. I went full time with the business in 2011, and I was the one making deliveries. I had a route I would drive weekly to drop cake balls. Thankfully, now I work with S&W, and they deliver the product now. We make an average of 2,000 cake balls a day and about 8,000 a week. We have a production line and location in Hammond.
