She is a parishioner of Holy Ghost Catholic Church, and is a member of many medical boards.
We want to thank Dr. Guillory for spending some time with us and letting us get to know about her life and her love of the area.
Q: What led you to your current career?
A: I have always liked helping and healing. I naturally gravitated towards medicine. My grandfather was a physician and we have nurses in my family. As far as how I decided on the type of medicine I practice, I thought I wanted to become a pediatrician. When I started rotations, I realized how hard and sad working with children could be. OB is joyful most of the time, people are excited to meet their baby, and that is a fun element to be a part of.
Q: What is your favorite restaurant in the area, and what do you like to get there?
A: I always get the Fresh Market Roll from Cate Street or brunch from One Thirteen is always good!
Q: What is your favorite childhood memory?
A: Coming home from school seeing our new puppy after our family dog had passed away. I could see a little puppy head over the fence.
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be? And why?
A: Ideally, the Great Pyramids in Egypt. I love Egyptian history, it would be neat to see them.
