Meet Julianna DePaula!

Julianna grew up in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, and is the youngest of three. She attended St. Joseph’s Catholic School and Ponchatoula High School. Her late father, Julian Dufreche, was the mayor of Ponchatoula from 1988-2004. After high school, she received her undergraduate and Masters from Southeastern Louisiana University. She has worked in the Skilled Nursing setting as a Speech Language Pathologist since 2010.

After college, she moved to New Orleans, and married her husband, Tim, in 2012. Together they have Lena (9), Lucia (7) and Olivia (5). They wanted to be closer to family, so they moved back to Tangipahoa parish in 2021.

They also have Gracie, their 15-year-old dog.

We want to thank Julianna for spending some time with us and letting us get to know about her life and her love of the area.
