Meet Kimberly Melancon!

Kimberly is originally from Boothville, Louisiana in Plaquemines parish. She is the second of 7 children. She married a military man and moved many times during her marriage. They had 3 children (Shaun, Michelle, and Rebecca), who are now adults and she has 3 grandchildren (Alyssa, Jase, and Abigail) whom she adores. She is now married to Billy, and they moved to Ponchatoula in 2015.

We want to thank Kimberly for spending some time with us and letting us get to know about her life and her love of the area.

Q: What led you to your current career?

A: We moved here from Slidell in 2015 to be closer to family.

Q: What is your favorite childhood memory?
A: Spending time at my grandmother's home in Buras, Louisiana. All of my cousins and siblings would play and have the best time. We would go monthly and for holidays.
