We want to thank Krystle for spending some time with us and letting us get to know about her life and her love of the area.
Q: What led you to your current career?
A: I started working at a dental practice in 2008 as an assistant. I wanted to be in the medical field. I have worked at a few different offices as an assistant, but I worked my way up to management. I have been doing that for about 5 years now. I am glad I have spent my career in this field.
Q: What is your favorite restaurant in the area, and what do you like to get there?
A: Punjabi Dhaba! I would always get the number 39, but they recently changed the numbers. I order a few things there. I love when you go in they have Indian music playing.
Q: What is your favorite childhood memory?
A: Riding go carts in the neighborhood with my friends, Rochelle and Shaunna. We spent a lot of time outside playing basketball or running around.
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be? And why?
A: Probably Australia. I would love to see kangaroos.
Q: What is your favorite movie? What is the first movie you remember seeing in a theater?
A: Friday! It is still funny. It wasn't the first movie I saw, but I remember seeing Titanic at the Town and Country theater in Hammond.
Q: What advice would you give a group of people?
A: Don't worry about them…you do you. Don't worry about other people's opinions.
Q: What is something on your bucket list?
A: Going skiing and snowboarding. I have never been.
Q: What is your favorite type of music? Who is an artist or band that you would like to see (dead or alive)?
A: My favorites are R&B and Christian music. I would like to see Bruno Mars perform!
Q: What current or former business makes you the most nostalgic about the area?
A: The old Hammond mall. Rochelle and I would go to Chick-fil-a.
Q: If you could choose one person to go to lunch with that you’ve never met, who is it and where would you go?
A: Michelle Obama. And I would take her to Punjabi Dhaba!
Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique that you love about the area?
A: How it is a close-knit community that is family-oriented.
Q: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
A: Working part-time and traveling more.
Q: What is something interesting that most people don’t know about you (even friends or family)?
A: I love fixing and putting things together. I recently fixed our garbage disposal with the help of YouTube. My next challenge is the ice maker!
Q: What is a word or phrase that comes to mind when you think of the word “Home”?
A: Relaxation.
Q: If you could have a full-time staff member that is fully paid for, what would that be? (Chef, housekeeper, driver, coach, personal trainer, etc.)
A: An assistant who also cleans. They would do laundry, organize the house, be a tutor, literally everything.
Q: If you had to choose one type of cuisine to eat for the rest of your life, what would it be?
A: Pizza!
Q: What do you do when you are alone in your car?
A: Sing!

A: The last gift I gave was to Kaylei. I gave her some hair stuff. The last gift I received was from Kerwin. He got me shoes for Valentine's Day.
