She met her husband, Charles, in high school. They began dating in 1983, and were married in 1988. They had their daughter, Jeni, then a son, Taylor. They moved to Loranger when the kids were of school age.

We want to thank Robin for spending some time with us and letting us get to know about her life and her love of the area.
Q: What led you to your current career?
A: I decided to retire from traditional working when I ran for the school board. There are many roles and obligations outside just the meetings that keep me busy. I worked part time for TARC doing fundraising and the Very Special Miss Louisiana Pageant. It is the most rewarding thing I have ever done. My goal is to have each state have a Special Miss, and then a national competition!
